What are people saying?

  • msmichel's rating of the film Bluebeard

Lee Soo-youn's 'Bluebeard' starts off as an interesting take on a doctor perhaps sliding into madness when he discovers the butcher shop beneath his apartment may be hiding a long term serial killer. However the film soon derails when the doctor becomes the suspect and despite the efforts of star Cho Jin-Woong its all downhill from there.

  • saitosouta's rating of the film Bluebeard

  • Mathias Palmberg's rating of the film Bluebeard

Solid and stylish thriller with a excellent first reel. Things move along nicely but after the director shows his hand the movie descends into police procedural melodrama and loses its' edge. Still the movie recovers somewhat with one sweet final twist. Props goes to a very good lead actor and a truly suspenseful score.
