Nothing we haven't seen before here. Bob and the Trees narrative arc it takes is routine, non-surprising, and not inventive. It keeps repeating its plot elements that follow the typical structure of: things seem to go well for Bob, things go bad, things get better. Bob and the Trees just seems ordinary. The most impressive thing about it is that the father and son are real loggers and non-professional actors.
