Ratings & Reviews

  1. Blumes's rating of the film Born to Win

Good energy and an ear worm score. But it’s noticeably underwritten and the heroin addiction is not as severe and realistic as a damning picture should be.

  2. FISCHER's rating of the film Born to Win

  3. Droog811's rating of the film Born to Win

Awful early 70s movie with George Seagal as a hairdresser/heroin addict/thief and Karen Black as his annoying singing girlfriend...only redeeming parts are seeing a young Robert Deniro as a cop (?) and the early 70s New York city street scenes.

  4. Jaspar Lamar Crabb's rating of the film Born to Win

    A grueling, sadly neglected masterpiece.

  5. Daniel S.'s rating of the film Born to Win

There will be no Prague Spring for George - Jayjay- Segal in Born to Win, Ivan Passer's first American effort. Even Karen Black who's surfing on the Peace and Love wave will be unable to exorcize the cloud of bad luck that is drowning the former hairdresser. Masterpiece.
