The young prostitute character's difficulty of entering an unfamiliar idea of relationship in which sex is not required instead of care, reflects perfectly upon how hard it is to come out as an elderly gay person.
Peccato.
Boulevard lives up to every frame that passes by the viewers' eyes, in both the story told and in the fact that it is one of Robin Williams' last films. Out of the two gay characters that Williams played in his career, this one touches in a specific emotional spot. The relationship with his wife is particularly hard to watch and even had me in tears two different times. Loved the rapport between he and Leo as well.
