I liked it. Relays heavily on visual aesthetics from the MTV music videos nowdays, tripy atmosphere and (sometimes) cool music. But it throws out some good stories, questions and dialogues about our dreams and fears and how they interweave.
2-3. This film is couched in some genuinely enchanting evocations, but its story is pretty simple. It's palpably emotional, but intellectually plain. In shooting down the potential romantic element between its leads, it kind of sets itself apart, but also removes its potential edge. It reverses on its apparent early themes, then kind of fumbles its way to a theme about balance. But at least it's engaging, overall.
