When ex-cat burglar Bernice Rhodenbarr inadvertently witnesses a murder, she enlists help from her friends, wacko poodle-groomer Carl and drunken floozie Frankie (Elizabeth Ruscio), to help solve the crime and prove Bernice’s innocence.
