A lovely little gem of a film. Beautifully shot - the light and colour in every scene is captured wonderfully, and evokes a haunting atmosphere that so many Australian films I have seen seem to have. This, like many of those other films, is highly underrated. It tells a nice story, is acted well, and, along with Malina, is definitely one of my favourite Hupperts.
One of my favorite off the beaten path films. Isabelle's path of blindness is made with such quite grace it is a marvel to watch. The direction is also interesting. Worth seeing for all Huppert fans. Something distinctly different.
