  • Nick Schwab's rating of the film Calamity of Snakes

An intentionally funny, tongue-and-cheek 80's Taiwanese-by-way-of-Hong Kong-zaniness, grindhouse film that is quite fun as it goes along. It's crazy and insane nonsense, with outrageous dialogue and narrative logic that's often entertaining, despite too much chit-chat at times, and thus, lulls in its, sometimes repetitive, snake action. Otherwise, its silliness is a knowingly midnight movie for a fun B-movie time.
