  • El Biffo's rating of the film Chappaqua

Fabulous! This film is beautiful, unique and has a rhythm to it that really makes it. Must-see if you are a fan of The Beats. Cinematography by Robert Frank (Pull My Daisy, Cocksucker Blues). With Ravi Shankar,The Village Fugs, Moondog, Allen Ginsburg, and William Burroughs (as the drug dealer).

  • msmichel's rating of the film Chappaqua

A counter culture relic that intents and meanings are probably lost to time at this point. Never boring with some arresting images here and there but never seems to gel into anything meaningful. Despite cameos from such Beat generation icons as Ginsberg and Burroughs it doesn't add much to the legacy of the time period.
