I loved this as a child. I appreciate it as an adult. E.B. White did a great job of working in grown-up vocabulary and themes along with enough cute animals and funny characters, so as a child you didn't really notice that you were learning. The movie captures all of this, and is beautifully drawn with well-spaced, catchy songs. Who would have known that a small gray spider could be so lovely?
