The great Borzage does not live here. Several banalities splendidly photographed by William H. Clothier and a horrendous Vitor Mature, that physiognomically remembers Ronald Reagan, which is also no positive factor. Li Hua Li is a beautiful surprise and deserved a film that loved her as much as Borzage loved before Janet Gaynor and Margaret Sullavan.
