What an enchanting Opera Prima this is. This film is a solid proof that costarican cinema can go a long way. Fábrega brings the enigmatic and ludic cinema of Lucrecia Martel to a new level and does her own gig embodying it with the "local tico feeling".
+ Beatiful main characters from Costa Rica, impressions from a probably interesting country
- boring, not totally obvious and to me pointless plot: little girl runs away from home, spends one night in the fields, is found by some couple, tells them her family has died recently (which is a lie) - plotwise the only interesting aspect of the movie - in the end nothing happens. Overall impression: very disappointing
