Who said that Japanese animation can't deal with everyday life problems in Japan like teen suicide or teen prostitution ? Take a look at 'Colorful' and you'll understand why animation is an important cinema genre. I'm speechless in front of anime characters trying to understand the meaning of a picture drawn by one of them. Mise en abyme. Strongly recommended.
I’ve seen a lot of animes, a lot of great ones, but if I could only recommend 1 anime to someone, it might be this one, not because it’s the best, it’s not but it is really great and I love it, but cause of what it’s about, I think this movie is 1 that could really help someone who has or had depression or personal problems which was unexpected, I know it helped me even if only a bit. It’s just 1 I really recommend
