2008 The Wave was the first German movie I watched addressing fascism/nazism in a more or less direct way. But Combat Girls is really direct. It is about nazi groups today in Germany. There's no way to downplay it, like with 2006 "This Is England", where the UK skinheads do not seem threatening. It was back then, when politics were confusing, and there was nihilism and punk and beer. This is now. *
Su tanti livelli funziona pure, ma manca proprio la capacità di affondare il colpo, quello pesante che lo avrebbe reso importante. In un certo senso dimostra ancora certe ovvie difficoltà a narrare certi argomenti.
