Confessions of a Serial KillerDirected byMark Blair
Proving by its ineptitude that the most effective and emotionally lingering horror stories use a dramatic method to their telling, the framing device of the police interrogation makes its drama and horror seem like it's playing out under glass. It also never lets the viewer linger on the characters or emotional stakes, as despite having an obvious plot arc, it doesn't feel like it cares about where it's going.
