If you don't have a huge budget and can't afford name actors, the least you can do is get great actors. Don't use pretty people who can't act. The allusions to 'All That Jazz' and 'The Shining' were nice. I loved seeing H. Jon and Reggie in there. There is no escape!
Perfect for a double session with Her. The clash of languages between the lead character and his wife is a gem. Some dialogues are truly delicious, showing just how hard finding your sanity is and how tricky getting immersed in your very own reality can get. The design is very good. This is not just a fetishist flick. The duality tech/primitivism shows it's not just about technology but how we relate to ourselves.
Creative Control is one of the most approachable social statement films I have seen in recent times.
