What are people saying?

  • Daniel S.'s rating of the film Critical Care

A good Sidney Lumet movie unfairly forgotten. With a slightly humorous tone he'll also use in Find me Guilty, Sidney Lumet handles serious themes. It's typically an end-of-career movie he'll magistrally put an end to with Before the Devil Knows you're Dead. Recommended.

  • Dalibor's rating of the film Critical Care

Seen solely as a drama, it delivered the promised fun. As a legit bite on the topic of healthcare system losing its Hippocratic beliefs to dogmas of neoliberal capitalism, one would have hoped for more subtlety or a deeper sting at it than hopeless cynicism. Not that it's bad, especially when Albert Brooks puts on a moustache and a wig for some reason, but the aftertaste is somewhat unconvincing.
