Nice concept and interesting "creature", but rather lifeless execution from Edward L. Cahn who otherwise made a number of truly fun low-budget monster flicks in the 50s. The leads here (esp. Richard Anderson) are stiff to the point of static. Would make an interesting double feature with Rossellini's Journey to Italy however!
