Synopsis

This one first aired 20/12/82 and starred Helen Mirren as Imogen, Richard Johnson as Cymbeline, Claire Bloom as the Queen, Michael Pennington as Posthumous, Michael Gough as Belarius and Robert Lindsay as Jachimo. Moshinsky’s filmings of the plays he chose or was assigned were consistently the best of the series.
