Freelance journalist Nelson Keece (Gary Busey) catches a serial killer in action. Intrigued, and on the heels of a great story, Keece begins to chronicle the maniac’s exploits. Soon, the intrepid reporter finds himself drawn into the killer’s bloody world and actually accused of his violent crimes.
