Corey Yuen’s action-adventure film focuses on four high-powered female martial artists. Adept at disparate fighting styles, the women come together on an exotic isle to take part in a competition to the death.

I was hoping for a ridiculous piece of titillation and action as I have heard from podcast reviews, but I got a dull combination of cheesecake images and plotting instead, cobbled together without the mad energy the 90s genre films of questionable origins had. It also gets rid of its best part, wrestler Kevin Nash and his charmingly dazed performance, in the first quarter, which is even more unjustifiable.
As a video game adaptation, this film perfectly captured the perverted silliness of it's interactive counterpart. It knows it's source material and doesn't try to be anything else. So for that it's a resounding success in my opinion.
