Our take

Tempers flare and friskiness teems amid the cocktail sausages and tinnies in this razor-toothed comedy of manners. Set on the eve of the 1969 election, Don’s Party sets up a shooting range of satirical targets, exuberantly skewering champagne socialism, the male libido, and the Australian dream.
