Ratings & Reviews

  1. Wee Hunk's rating of the film Earthquake

Remember the disaster movie craze? They tended to be these melodramas where you get to know a couple of different groups of people, and then shake and bake 'em.

  2. FISCHER's rating of the film Earthquake

  3. Ethan's rating of the film Earthquake

This is a solid disaster blockbuster with an all star cast that keeps the entertainment and excitement coming the whole way through and never lets up.

  4. Michael H. CLAES's rating of the film Earthquake

Watch it with the SENSURROUND effect ! .................... ======= With John GUILLERMIN's TOWERNING INFERNO with Steve Mc QUEEN & Paul NEWMAN, the archetype of the disaster movie launched in 1974.

  5. Federico Di Folco's rating of the film Earthquake

Datato.

  6. NiteFlight9's rating of the film Earthquake

They had the entire population of Los Angeles to draw inspiration from and they still wrote some of the most 1-dimensional and boring/predictable characters ever.

  7. Scotch's rating of the film Earthquake

The bad science and inexplicably always-falling civilians were campily wonderful, but no love for geology, melodrama, disaster flicks, and Hollywood sexism could convince me to love this confused assemblage of refrigerator-dry leftovers from countless bad movies. I did appreciate the cowboy didacticism: cheaters and women who wish they were Elizabeth Taylor must die. Haha.

  8. Luka's rating of the film Earthquake

Earthquakes bring out the rapist in some people.

  9. monoglot's rating of the film Earthquake

Some pretty great special effects for the '70s, and even better hair.
