Are we suppose to be inspired by these types of women? Is she the kind of what we would call intelligent and thoughtful? I don't know.. she seemed selfish, boring, the one that only thinks for herself. 2 stars because of the cinematography, landscape, culinary, cultures and the geographic of this movie but aside from that this movie is a slow pace agonizing. Would've been so much better if it's focus as travelogues.
I blame films like this one and Woody Creep Allen sigh for encouraging rich, annoying and loud Americans to travel and be rich, anoying and loud elsewhere. The film itself is not that bad (some Americans aren't either).
I found the story to be very compelling and with it containing truth of some kind. As far as film goes, there were some definite stumbles in plot and flaws along the way. I also believe the film felt dragged out a bit, specifically in some areas. The film does well in appealing to, what I assume, is its target audience: middle-aged women.
An horrible movie with a plastic Julia Roberts.
I can't believe that a madiocre director can allow to represent Italy as a country of sexual maniacs, idler, bulimic, indigent people.
I'm not a patriot but this is too much even for me.
A millenial fairy tale about a rich girl that travels the world to find her inner self and have her ~latino~ Prince Charming waiting for her. Absolutely disrespectful to all the nationalities that where represented in this film. (Except for the "americans", of course).
