The title of this realist, debut feature means “whirlwind” in Korean, which describe the events surrounding a parental thwarting of a romance between two eighteen-year old students who can hardly wait until they turn nineteen, the legal age in Korea.

Good but somewhat garbled at the end: elliptical, disjunctive to a fault, suggestive of haste. Director/screenwriter just goes for the soft option, although all in all, it does capture the turbulence of adolescence rather well.
