A young girl is cured of her epilepsy just as summer vacation is about to begin. She spends her last days with her classmates, and goes on a last school trip: a picnic, a game of hide-and-seek, and a river. During this period, she’ll come to experience life in a new way.

Rising talent Luise Donschen evokes the cinema of Angela Schanelec in her mysterious short, using striking framing and superb sound to make what is off-screen as meaningful as what we see. Her bold storytelling sheds a surprising light on disability, exploring the fears of adolescence along the way.
