Extra help from three good supporting actors who's last name ends with a C (Coburn, Cromwell and Caan) and Arnie do one of his better portrayals but with the exception of a surprising alligator attack and a extreme weapon that shoots through any material the film is pretty by-the-numbers. A glorious brain dead movie that is perfect for some beer and chips though so that you don't need to hear the dialogue.
Poor James Caan, he's trying hard to play a character who's bound to lose in the end. Everyone knows what happens with the villains when Arnold does his macho-hero thing. While it has it's big fuckups, Eraser is fun, and that's enough sometimes.
