Incredible faux documentary from director Watkins that captures the pulse of mid 70's Danish society dealing with the worker's movement, the call for national strike, fears of nuclear armament and potential terrorist activity to secure goals. His formula of laying out the bare structure and letting cast improvise dialogue and situation works to full advantage here in what should now be an outdated relic. It's not.
The more I see how few people seem to have seen some of Watkins' key and brilliant works, the more I can't help but think there is a conspiracy against this man's work. Another vital work showcasing arguments against nuclear war and for greater social justice and equality.
