Johanna doesn’t think much about her Cousin Robert — he seems to be rather a rascal. But when their parents go on a vacation, both children have to stay with their grandfather. And soon Johanna finds herself on a boat with three boys and a chicken, meeting all kinds of adventures on the river.
Arend Agthe’s West German 80s classic is a cat-and-mouse comedy wherein four friends (and a chicken!) embark on a big adventure, working together to outwit and outrun a cantankerous grandfather. Packed full of slapstick silliness and, most importantly, lots of laughs.
