It's a brilliant little window into Gen X, obsessed with 3 things - working, breeding and marriage. Ross and Rachel are an accidentally genius representation of Gen X (bad couple, will divorce). It's offensive in places, but so are Gen Xers. It's almost a record of the social mindframe that led to the 2008 economic crisis. I'm glad I still find some of it funny 15 years later, regardless of how much I hate them now.
Did the impossible in my teenage years and made me laugh and took me through some real bad times. I'm just joking, saw this years later it was over and it was the funniest thing I ever saw. Ross is the best.
I have always been a little skeptic in what regards sitcoms in general. Therefore, I was always reluctant on the idea of watching Friends. Once I gave it a try I couldn't stop watching, for each line was original and new, making you laugh with incredible scripts. The downside are some sexist jokes they make throughout the show on the early seasons. Apart from that, it was a brilliant TV series. Light but addictive.
