Our take

For all-round sci-fi, fantasy and giant monster thrills, this sixth instalment in the Gamera franchise takes some beating. An extended set-piece occurring inside our favorite turtle makes for a nifty riff on Fantastic Voyage, while the prehistoric Jiger stands as one of our hero’s toughest foes.
