Suvorov was the last Generalissimo of the Russian Empire, who remained undefeated his entire career. On behalf of Empress Catherine II, he fought inumerous battles on foreign soil, leading Russia to victory. Ideological divergences between Paul I and Suvorov, forced the General’s retirement.
