Kôji Wakamatsu: according to IMDb, he directed 107 movies between 1963 and 2012. Not bad. It's said that this one is among his best. Anyway, the required sex and orgy scenes in Go, Go Second Time Virgin are filmed with detachment by the director whose interest is elsewhere. I was very surprised by the mood and the dialogues of the film, very Godardian in the best sense of the word. Highly recommended.
Acid-drenched misogynistic rape film. Why does she continue to stay and get raped? Is it the LSD? I am not sure this film even warrants analyzing, but it does belong in any essential collection of 1960's Japanese psychedelic cinema. Fabulous soundtrack includes Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention.
Pinku time! As far as I can tell it's a story about raping, killing, and suicide. Very rapey. Very killy. As I mentioned before Japanese film makers funding dried up, and so they started making pinku films and injecting social commentary. This very film is often mentioned as a masterpiece of this genre. One of the things mentioned about this director is how beautiful his cinematography is.
