3 June 2017 Nice to see Wenzhuo Zhao back in a lead role (The Blade) but this ho-hum effort from Gordon Chan has little to recommend it otherwise. Tale of determined Chinese soldiers taking on Japanese pirates aided by samurais (!!) is pretty silly throughout though the final battle royale between Zhao and the eldest samurai is quite entertaining. Production values are solid.
