In this sequel to the 1954 cult classic, two pilots land on a remote island and stumble upon the earth-shaking terror of two gigantic beasts locked in battle, one of which is later determined to be a relative of the infamous city-stomping Godzilla.

Second entry in the long running series is the last b&w film and the first to feature Godzilla taking on a foe. Made quickly to capitalize on the success of the first film it often shows poor production values in comparison. Enjoyable but certainly pales to the classic first entry.
2nd chapter of Godzilla don't waste any time in giving us some monster action and now there is 2 monsters wrestling for the price of 1. Miniature buildings are thrown around and/or blown up killing civilians. It must bad in Japan that when the power goes off even the headlights in automobiles has to be turned off. I knew electric cars was shit.
The first Godzilla sequel quickly forgets the post-war era traumar and goes straight to the puroresu match between Gojira and it's very first foe. Sadly after that the film drowns with very dull characters, then remembers it's suppose to be a Gojira movie.
