Ratings & Reviews

  1. Log Lady's rating of the film Grabbers

A charming little Irish comedy horror film that unfortunately doesn't do enough with its material but is nevertheless entertaining. The idea of defeating the creatures by getting utterly hammered makes Grabbers so much better than it otherwise would have been.

  2. Craig Knittle's rating of the film Grabbers

Sun a fun, boozy creature feature that gets quite emotional. Lovely two leads who you will root for.

  3. Nick Schwab's rating of the film Grabbers

It could have been much more. The first half before the 'get drunk to survive' plot thread comes into play feels awfully rote, as although the actors do well with their character troupes, the creature-feature element is nothing intriguing or unique. Once the drinks pour, it gets funner, yet it isn't enough to sustain the narrative with just the gimmick. There's still some cute jokes, but they're not funny enough.

  4. Scotch's rating of the film Grabbers

Why hasn't this become a cult hit in the US? It's like Slither but with alcoholism. When's the sequel: Grabberses. Motto: Still grabbing...

  6. Tigrão's rating of the film Grabbers

"Whereabouts is that fecking gobshite?" Good fun, even if it could have crazier than that. Very good camera work, though, and great CGI.

  7. Henrique Amud's rating of the film Grabbers

  8. Mathias Palmberg's rating of the film Grabbers

Likeable and funny creature-feature with good effects and some great laughs. The casting is spot on considering the material and the direction is assured. I had a really good time watching this.

  9. Ed Benn's rating of the film Grabbers

Immensly enjoyable genre flick. Makes up for a not too original screenplay with many laughs and some genuinely tense moments. And it has the all time greatest Aliens reference. Well worth checking out at the cinema, it's one of those films that works best with a group.
