In Izbuc, a village in the Romanian Carpathian Mountains, the inhabitants believe that Gratian Florea is a werewolf. His family and the whole village rejected him. The old man lives outside the village in a shack with no water or heating. In his solitude, Gratian works with astronomical numbers.
