If only the first 24 minutes were as interesting as the final 4. Russell has always been a filmmaker who frustrated me, even though I saw some potential and elements of interest; I guess much like Rivers. Kind of inevitable that their masterpiece would come, when they combined to make Spell; but knowing none of their solo work will ever come close.
