Ratings & Reviews

  1. bitchwitched's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

It brings back so many childhood memories. They used to air this on national television on Día de Muertos along with other Enrique Taboada films. And they remind me of my grandma, so that's an extra I guess.

  2. Tibulle85's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

Un précurseur mexicain des films fantastiques à la Dario Argento (toutes proportions gardées...;-) )

  3. Nick Schwab's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

Carlos Enrique Taboada is one of the few revered horror directors of the 'golden age' that I think is vastly overrated. Like his other work, Even the Wind is Afraid is a horror film for wimps: with light scares that lack suspense and tension, and a stuffy nature to its dramatic elements when it tries for a slow-crawl with alot of plot and character interaction. However, its emotion/story dimension is minimal, too.

  4. CarlosEsquives's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

  6. Zachary George Najarian-Najafi's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

What do you get when you throw a group of horny and sexually repressed teenage girls in a creepy old boarding school for a week? More sexy supernatural antics than you can shake a stick at! Full Review: http://cinephiledreams.blogspot.com/2013/12/hasta-el-viento-tiene-miedo-1968.html

  7. Pierluigi Puccini's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

The citizen kane of mexican horror. eye candy girls inside a strict and repressive institution. reminded me a little of "picnic at hanging rock". Entertaining ghost tale with well crafted creepy atmosphere by a man who is regarded as the "Mexican Hitchcock" Carlos Enrique Taboada.

  8. Blue K, Custodian of the Cinema's rating of the film Even The Wind Is Afraid

An all-female boarding school with hot Mexcian chicas where they force each other to strip for fun. How could this get less than four stars from any straight man?
