In this eighth installment of Clive Barker’s film franchise, a group of Internet enthusiasts get sucked into a video game and soon score an invite to an exclusive and mysterious gathering, where the lines between cyberlife and reality are blurred.

Another Miramax bastardization of the Hellraiser franchise from hack Rick Bota in this eighth and final entry to date. Again a property being sat on by the producers was fit into the Hellraiser series with middling results. No real horror on display this time around. Will at least be an embarrassing entry on Henry Cavill's resume.
At least the first few gave us some torn up bodies, this one is just a slasher flick and pretentious (!) to boot. Laughable lines and acting, and the occasional tit-flash acting as substitute for good kills.
Lance Henriksen is watchable even in this inept movie and truly bad movie that tries to be post-modern and humorous but lacks a good writer to make it work. Well at least the title is perfect as I felt I had been transferred to a Hellworld while watching this torture of a film. No wonder Doug Bradley said goodbye to the franchise after appearing in this one.
This franchise was doomed from the start and it continues to keep proving it. It thinks it's giving the horror fans what they want (sex, drugs, rock and roll and blood) but, in reality, it's not giving what (I think) we want - and that is dread. The concept was almost unbreable.
