  • HKFanatic's rating of the film Higanjima

From the Korean director of "Volcano High" comes this Japanese live-action adaptation of a manga about an island of vampires. And it's crammed full of all your typical shonen manga cliches, down to the walking, talking stereotype characters: there's the kind-hearted hero, the rockabilly punk, the science nerd, the fat one, the girl who just wants to be one of those guys, etc. Coulda been fun but not for 2 hours.
