What are people saying?

  • Sunrise's rating of the film Hong Kong 97

Fontana's crafted an interesting plot in which Capitalist business manifests itself as Robert Patrick's assassin Reginald; business becomes a literal killer in the growing Chinese economy. While Pyun's sequences of action begin lifelessly and without proper coverage, the over-cranking finds weight when Reginald begins to recognize the life that business threatens. Slow motion becomes the last attempt to observe life.
