Our take
This intriguing first-person documentary tells the story of a lost language while commenting on notions of identity, exile, and assimilation. Centered around the last person speaking Ubykh, this poetic and personal journey takes the viewer from Turkey to Paris, Oslo, and the Caucasus region.
