  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Identification Marks: None

Un étudiant renvoyé de la faculté devra, le jour même, partir au service militaire pour deux ans : une acide introspection de la Pologne ...... www.cinefiches.com

  2. Wee Hunk's rating of the film Identification Marks: None

First of a two parter. This one has his wife at the time, and has a rambling narrative. It has a bit of the experimentation, but gets bogged down in places. I recommend the second part 'Walkower'.

  3. José Neves's rating of the film Identification Marks: None

As Cléo or Paula Nelson (AK), Andrzej Leszczyc walks about his "mall de vivre", crossing several other characters and states of life, in constant intersections and occurrences that the camera capture, circulating with its protagonist and giving us his visions, and ours, to actions that lead to a geometrized choreography of sequences. In the beggining, a sequence-shot makes us rejoice with the language of images.

  4. Konrad Szlendak's rating of the film Identification Marks: None

Strong debut by Skolimowski, which strikes chord even now. Fuelled by French New Wave director tells a story of a loner without a purpose, who is unable to commit to anything although he tries. It's also a first Polish film that focuses on a drama of an individual, who doesn't sacrifice for greater good, but just tries to find one's own perspective. Notable fluid camera work and gritty backdrop!
