Eliot’s text is read, interpreted and manipulated by the voice of Carmelo Bene, whose accent reminds one of Gian Maria Volonté’s in Indagine di un cittadino al di sopra di ogni sospetto. It also blends itself well with the sound distortions produced by Luciano Berio.
