Love can be quite disconcerting, as a robot named Sheldon discovers. He falls in love with Francesca and, all at once, the world is a much more beautiful place. What’s more, the rules he followed, simply don’t apply any more.

Sorry. Nothing exquisite about this one. Your typical a-must-watch-with-your-girlfriend-if-you-want-to-get-laid-tonight movie and nothing more. The characters are mediocre and the storyline too flat and overdosed with cliches. I did not see any interesting camera movements. No unique atmosphere was created. The only mentionable thing about this short film is the soundtrack.
I love Spike Jonze but i don't like sacrifices being romanticized like this. May be it's different in the robot perspective, and that much sacrifice is not something done out of blind love, idk. I mean, it's not even their fault but the script is just too cruel and therefore not believable.
Sadly, the cliché love story takes over some interesting details in the staging. Why use robots instead of humans? The question is left unanswered. I doubt there's an intellectual reasoning behind that choice.
Melancólica historia de amor entre dos robots. Spike Jonze recrea al prototipo de amores compuestos por personajes de comportamientos distintos. Ambos motivando un encuentro con un vacío que el otro llena.
I liked it, it touches you at some moments, the love story is little weird but still nice, he's demostration of true love to Francesca make you notice how love can be, strong, without limits, all is perfect when you're in love, something like that It is what this movie try to say. Your world can change from a night to the morning when you fall in love, just what I 'understand' from this piece of art.
