Our take
Yasemin Demirci tenderly navigates grief’s labyrinth in this short film, transforming domestic space into a tableau of emotion. Dedicated to her late father, noted Turkish cartoonist Latif Demirci, In His Fortress transcends personal loss to resonate with universal experiences of memory and healing.
