What are people saying?

  • mpho3's rating of the film In Prison My Whole Life

Racism-authoritarianism-police brutality-death-penalty 101, drawing in fascinating tangents. Mumia can’t appear on video. His brother won’t say much. The slain cop’s family won’t talk. We get salient interviews from academics & lawyers to pop culture stalwarts, punctuated with a great sndtrk & funky visuals. But Francome has put too much of himself here (even the film title) & reveals little about Abu-Jamal. 3.5stars
