What are people saying?

  • Nick Schwab's rating of the film Intensity

A searing and adrenal 1st half before settling down in the 2nd. It's a precursor to the 2003 hyper-violent, grindhouse-esque French film, High Tension, without Tension's climatic twist, and a more restrained tone and subdued content. Main problem: the insight into the McGinley character in the 2nd half is scary as often as it's exaggeratedly funny. His dialogue should've been sparser or not as embellished.
