"Jigsaw" is a excellent police procedure film, set in and around 1960's Brighton. It literally follows around two detectives, as they piece together the clues to the brutal murder of a woman.Filmed in glorious black and white widescreen by the underrated film director Val Guest.Who also gave us the classic British Noir "Hell Is A City"(1960) and the thought provoking SciFi "The Day The Earth Caught Fire" (1961).
A procedural film kind of like a British Naked City, but without the gritty feel of that film. Piece by piece the real killer is finally revealed. Not exactly Earth shattering, but a fun time passer.
